Groomer Gear Lab is run by working groomers and salon owners who were tired of reading reviews written by people who had never lifted a dryer.
We do not accept free units, sponsored placements, or manufacturer-paid trips. Every dryer, table, and tool on this site was purchased through the same channels you use — Amazon, grooming suppliers, and brand sites. That means we test what actually ships, not a hand-picked pre-production sample.
When we recommend something, it is because we would use it in our own salons. When we warn against something, it is because it failed a test that matters in real work.
The grooming equipment world is full of affiliate sites that rank whoever pays the most. We only partner with retailers after our ratings are finalized, and we never let affiliate relationships change a review, a ranking, or a score. Every page discloses affiliate links clearly.
Groomer Gear Lab earns commission through the Amazon Associates program and direct brand affiliate relationships. We also run a small amount of display advertising. Those payments cover testing costs and hosting. They do not influence what we test or what we say.
